This Privacy Policy explains how PakTutorOnline (“we”, “us”) handles personal information when you visit www.paktutoronline.com or enroll in our online tutoring classes. We are based in Islamabad, Pakistan.
1. Information we collect
- Information you give us: the student's and parent's name, phone or WhatsApp number, email address, country or time zone, level, subjects and academic goals, when you contact or enroll with us.
- Class information: attendance, homework, quiz and mock exam results, and teacher notes we use to track progress.
- Payment information: records of fees paid. Card and PayPal payments are processed by those providers; we do not store full card numbers.
- Website usage: anonymous, aggregated analytics (such as pages visited, page-load speed and clicks to contact us) through Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights. Enquiry events record the page, contact method and button location, not your name, contact details or message. These tools do not use cookies.
2. How we use information
- To respond to enquiries and arrange trial classes.
- To schedule classes, match students with teachers and deliver lessons.
- To send progress reports and communicate with parents.
- To manage fees and payment records.
- To improve our website and teaching.
We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
3. The contact form and WhatsApp
The booking form on our website does not store your details on our servers. When you press “Send on WhatsApp”, it opens WhatsApp with your message filled in, and the message is handled under WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
4. Online classes and recordings
Classes run on third-party platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams, each with its own privacy policy. If a session is recorded for revision, the recording is shared only with the student and parent concerned. You can ask us not to record a session.
5. Third-party services
Our website embeds a Google Map, which may set cookies under Google's privacy policy, and links to our Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, Quora and WhatsApp pages. We are not responsible for how those services handle your data.
6. Children's privacy
Many of our students are under 18. We ask that a parent or guardian makes the enrollment and provides a student's personal details. If you believe a child has given us information without a parent's consent, contact us and we will delete it.
7. How long we keep information
We keep enrollment and progress records while a student is studying with us, and for up to two years afterwards so we can provide references or resume classes. After that we delete or anonymise them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
8. Security
We limit access to personal information to the staff and teachers who need it, and use reasonable measures to protect it.
9. Your rights

10. Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will post the new version on this page and change the date at the top.
