One-to-one IGCSE, O Level and GCSE classes cost $12 per hour per subject. Group classes cost $25 per month per subject, which includes 3 live classes a week. ### How much does A Level tutoring cost? One-to-one A Level classes cost $18 per hour per subject. Group A Level classes cost $40 per month per subject, with 3 classes a week in groups of 3–5 students. ### How do I pay, and in which currency? Fees are quoted in US dollars and paid monthly in advance, by bank transfer, PayPal or card. Students in Pakistan can ask for the local-currency equivalent. ### Is there a trial class? Yes. We offer a discounted 45-minute trial class. Your teacher assesses your current level, discusses your goals and shows you how lessons work, and there is no obligation to continue. ### Do I have to take classes 3 days a week? For one-to-one classes we recommend at least 3 days a week for the best results, but parents can choose 1, 2 or 3 days to fit their budget. Group classes always run 3 days a week. ### Which exam boards do you teach? We teach Cambridge International (CAIE), Pearson Edexcel and Edexcel International, AQA, OCR and the International Baccalaureate (IB). ### Which subjects do you offer? We teach all subjects under these boards. The most popular are Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, English, Computer Science, Business Studies and Accounting. ### How are online classes conducted? Classes run live on Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams with an interactive whiteboard and screen sharing. Session recordings can be shared for revision. ### What is the difference between group and one-to-one classes? One-to-one classes give you a dedicated teacher and a plan built around you, billed per hour. Group classes are small (4–6 students at IGCSE, 3–5 at A Level), last 40 minutes, run 3 days a week and cost a flat monthly fee. ### Can students outside Pakistan join? Yes. Classes are online, so you can join from any country, and class times are set in your local time zone. That is also why our fees are in US dollars. ### What study materials do you provide? Topic-wise notes and worksheets, past papers with mark schemes, topical quizzes and full-length Cambridge-style mock papers, all updated for the current syllabus. ### Who are the teachers? Our teachers are highly qualified, experienced subject specialists for international curricula, including British Council certified teachers. ### How do you track progress? Teachers use topic quizzes, past paper scores and mock exams. Parents receive a monthly progress report with strengths, weak areas and next steps, and can ask for a parent–teacher meeting at any time. ### How do I enroll? Message us on WhatsApp at +92 304 5600533 with your level, board, subjects and preferred times. We match you with a teacher, book a trial, and then set up your weekly schedule. ### What do I need for online classes? A laptop, tablet or computer with a webcam and microphone, and a stable internet connection of at least 5 Mbps. Headphones are recommended, and a writing tablet helps but is not required. ### Where is PakTutorOnline based? We are based in Islamabad, Pakistan, and teach online, so students can join from anywhere in the world. ## Online tutoring by location - [United Arab Emirates](https://www.paktutoronline.com/online-tutors/uae): Gulf Standard Time (GMT+4), 1 hour behind Pakistan (PKT). - [Dubai](https://www.paktutoronline.com/online-tutors/dubai): Gulf Standard Time (GMT+4), 1 hour behind Pakistan (PKT). - [Abu Dhabi](https://www.paktutoronline.com/online-tutors/abu-dhabi): Gulf Standard Time (GMT+4), 1 hour behind Pakistan (PKT). - [Saudi Arabia](https://www.paktutoronline.com/online-tutors/saudi-arabia): Arabia Standard Time (GMT+3), 2 hours behind Pakistan (PKT). - [Qatar](https://www.paktutoronline.com/online-tutors/qatar): Arabia Standard Time (GMT+3), 2 hours behind Pakistan (PKT). - [Oman](https://www.paktutoronline.com/online-tutors/oman): Gulf Standard Time (GMT+4), 1 hour behind Pakistan (PKT). - [Kuwait](https://www.paktutoronline.com/online-tutors/kuwait): Arabia Standard Time (GMT+3), 2 hours behind Pakistan (PKT). - [Bahrain](https://www.paktutoronline.com/online-tutors/bahrain): Arabia Standard Time (GMT+3), 2 hours behind Pakistan (PKT). - [United Kingdom](https://www.paktutoronline.com/online-tutors/united-kingdom): Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) / British Summer Time (BST, GMT+1), 5 hours behind Pakistan (PKT) in winter, 4 hours behind in summer. - [United States](https://www.paktutoronline.com/online-tutors/usa): Eastern Time (ET, GMT−5 / GMT−4 in summer); Central and Pacific further behind, 10 hours behind Pakistan (PKT) in winter, 9 hours behind in summer (Eastern Time). - [Lahore](https://www.paktutoronline.com/online-tutors/lahore): Pakistan Standard Time (PKT, GMT+5), Same as Pakistan (PKT). - [Karachi](https://www.paktutoronline.com/online-tutors/karachi): Pakistan Standard Time (PKT, GMT+5), Same as Pakistan (PKT). ## Study guides (blog) - [IGCSE Maths 0580 Non-Calculator Paper: Skills, Examples and Practice Plan](https://www.paktutoronline.com/blog/igcse-maths-0580-non-calculator-paper): For Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics 0580 exams in 2025–2027, Paper 1 is the Core non-calculator paper and Paper 2 is the Extended non-calculator paper. Prepare by practising exact arithmetic, algebra and estimation without a calculator, then use timed questions for your own tier. - [IGCSE Computer Science 0478 Paper 2: Pseudocode and Trace Table Practice](https://www.paktutoronline.com/blog/igcse-computer-science-0478-paper-2-pseudocode): Prepare for 0478 Paper 2 by writing algorithms from a blank page, tracing variables step by step and testing boundary cases. This guide follows the 2026–2028 syllabus: use the required pseudocode for coding answers, with the stated language choices applying to the 15-mark scenario question. - [IGCSE Economics 0455: How to Answer Structured Questions with Clear Analysis](https://www.paktutoronline.com/blog/igcse-economics-0455-structured-questions): Strong Economics answers connect a cause to an economic effect and explain the steps between them. Read the command word, use the question's context, support your explanation with accurate economics and weigh relevant conditions when discussion is required. - [IGCSE Accounting 0452: Double Entry, Trial Balance and Common Errors](https://www.paktutoronline.com/blog/igcse-accounting-0452-double-entry-bookkeeping): Double entry records equal debit and credit amounts for every transaction. Identify the accounts, classify them and decide whether each increases or decreases. A balanced trial balance checks debit-credit equality, but it does not prove that every entry is correct. - [Additional Maths Revision: Differentiation, Integration and Algebra Checks](https://www.paktutoronline.com/blog/additional-maths-differentiation-integration-revision): For Additional Maths calculus, first make the algebra manageable, then choose the derivative or integral that answers the question. Show each step, distinguish gradients from coordinates and check an antiderivative by differentiating it. Start with these polynomial examples before moving to more complex functions. - [IGCSE Business Case Studies: Application, Analysis and Evaluation Explained](https://www.paktutoronline.com/blog/igcse-business-case-study-answer-technique): A useful Business case-study answer uses a specific case fact, explains its effect on the business and weighs the options against the stated objective. A recommendation needs a reason that fits the situation. Check your syllabus code: Cambridge replaces IGCSE Business Studies 0450 with Business 0264 from 2027. - [A Level Chemistry 9701 Organic Revision: Reaction Maps and Mechanism Checks](https://www.paktutoronline.com/blog/a-level-chemistry-9701-organic-revision): Revise organic Chemistry by linking starting functional groups to products, reagents and conditions, then practise the required mechanisms separately. Recall each reaction without notes and test it on an unfamiliar molecule. This guide uses an AS-level alcohol example as a foundation for wider 9701 revision. - [A Level Physics 9702 Calculations: Units, Graphs and Uncertainties](https://www.paktutoronline.com/blog/a-level-physics-9702-calculations-uncertainties): Improve Physics calculations by identifying the model, converting units, rearranging symbolically and checking the result's dimensions and size. For the simple uncertainty treatment used in 9702, distinguish absolute from percentage uncertainty and select the rule that matches the calculation. - [IGCSE & O Level Physics: Revision Tips for Formulas, Graphs and Exam Technique](https://www.paktutoronline.com/blog/igcse-o-level-physics-revision-tips): Physics marks are mostly lost on three things: equations that aren't memorised, calculations without units or working, and explanations that miss the key physics words. Learn every equation in the syllabus until you can recall and rearrange it instantly, show full working with units on every calculation, and practise the practical skills (tables, graphs, errors) as seriously as the theory. - [How to Choose an Online Tutor: A Checklist for Parents](https://www.paktutoronline.com/blog/how-to-choose-an-online-tutor): Choose a tutor who knows your child's exact syllabus code and exam board, offers a trial class, teaches with past papers and mark schemes, and reports progress to you regularly. Compare fees per hour of real teaching, and be wary of tutors who can't explain how they will measure improvement. - [IGCSE & O Level Biology: Revision Tips for Definitions, Diagrams and Data Questions](https://www.paktutoronline.com/blog/igcse-o-level-biology-revision-tips): Biology looks like a memory subject, but most lost marks come from imprecise wording, weak data analysis and unpractised practical skills. Learn definitions in mark scheme language, link every process to a clear cause and effect, practise describing graphs with figures and units, and treat the practical or Alternative to Practical paper as a skill to train, not an afterthought. - [Choosing A Level Subjects for Medicine, Engineering, Business and Computer Science](https://www.paktutoronline.com/blog/a-level-subject-choices): Pick subjects your target degree requires first, then subjects you're strongest in. Medicine usually needs Chemistry and Biology (plus Physics or Maths); engineering needs Maths and Physics; computer science needs Maths (Computer Science helps); economics and business degrees prefer Maths plus Economics. Always check the entry requirements of the specific universities you're aiming for. - [O Level English Language 1123: Writing Tips for Directed Writing, Compositions and Reading](https://www.paktutoronline.com/blog/o-level-english-1123-writing-tips): In O Level English Language 1123, marks come from doing exactly what the task asks, in a clear structure, with accurate and varied language. For directed writing, cover every bullet point in the right format and tone; for compositions, plan before you write and choose the type you do most confidently; for reading, answer in your own words and keep summaries focused and concise. - [IGCSE Maths Core vs Extended: Which Paper Should You Take?](https://www.paktutoronline.com/blog/igcse-maths-core-vs-extended): Take Extended if you want a grade above C, or if you plan to study Maths, Physics, Economics, Computer Science or any science at A Level. Core covers less content and caps your grade at C. Choose Core only if a secure C is the goal and Maths isn't needed beyond IGCSE. - [From O Level and IGCSE to A Level: How to Handle the Jump to AS and A2](https://www.paktutoronline.com/blog/as-to-a2-level-jump): A Level is a big step up: there is more content, deeper understanding is expected, and far more learning happens outside class. Students who adjust early by reviewing each lesson the same day, practising questions weekly, strengthening their maths and asking for help as soon as a topic feels shaky handle the jump well. Waiting until the first mock results is the most common mistake. - [IGCSE & O Level Chemistry: 10 Revision Tips That Actually Raise Grades](https://www.paktutoronline.com/blog/igcse-o-level-chemistry-revision-tips): Most Chemistry marks are lost in four places: mole calculations, balancing and writing equations, organic chemistry, and the practical or alternative-to-practical paper. Learn the reactivity series, ion tests and organic reactions until they're automatic, practise mole calculations daily with full working, and use the official mark scheme wording for definitions. - [How to Use Past Papers the Right Way (Cambridge & Edexcel)](https://www.paktutoronline.com/blog/how-to-use-past-papers): Use past papers in two stages: first topic-wise questions straight after learning each topic, then full papers under timed conditions in the final three months. Mark every answer against the official mark scheme, log every lost mark by topic and reason, and spend your next session fixing those exact gaps before doing more papers. - [How to Prepare for IGCSE and O Level Exams: A 6-Month Study Plan](https://www.paktutoronline.com/blog/igcse-o-level-study-plan): Start at least six months before the exam. Spend the first two months finishing and consolidating the syllabus, the next two on topic-wise past paper questions, and the last two on full timed papers and targeted repair of weak topics. Study little and often (about 2 hours a day across subjects), and mark every paper against the official mark scheme. - [O Level vs IGCSE: What's the Difference and Which Should You Choose?](https://www.paktutoronline.com/blog/o-level-vs-igcse): O Level and IGCSE are both Cambridge qualifications at the same level, taken at around age 16, and universities treat them as equivalent. The main differences are grading (O Level A*–E, IGCSE A*–G or 9–1), tiers (many IGCSE subjects have Core and Extended papers, O Level has one paper set) and availability (O Level is offered mainly in South Asia and parts of Africa, IGCSE worldwide). ## Pages - [Blog](https://www.paktutoronline.com/blog) - [Fees](https://www.paktutoronline.com/pricing) - [About](https://www.paktutoronline.com/about) - [Zain ul Abideen, CEO & Founder](https://www.paktutoronline.com/about/zain-ul-abideen) - [FAQ](https://www.paktutoronline.com/faq) - [Contact](https://www.paktutoronline.com/contact) - [Privacy Policy](https://www.paktutoronline.com/privacy-policy) - [Terms & Conditions](https://www.paktutoronline.com/terms)
